Unlimited Festival - Art On The Edge: Jo Verrent, Katherine Araniello, Noemi Lakmaier, Simon McKeown, Janice Parker
Work by disabled artists can push boundaries politically and aesthetically, breaking rules and subverting norms, and challenging what we are supposed to look at and look for within work.
Diversity and Culture Consultant Jo Verrent leads this panel with contributions from Katherine Araniello (one half of the Disabled Avant Garde) and Noemi Lakmaier. Both Katherine and Noemi created work for the live art event 'M21 - From the Medieval to the 21st Century', an Unlimited Commission focusing on and in Much Wenlock.
They are joined by Simon McKeown, who was part of M21 and also has his own Unlimited commission, 'Motion Disabled', and Janice Parker, creator of Unlimited Commission 'Private Dancer'.
Please note - this free event requires a ticket. You can reserve your ticket online (£1.75 transaction fee) or by phone on 0844 847 9910 (£2.75 transaction fee).
