Featuring

Cecile McLorin Salvant

Hailed as ‘the next big thing’ in jazz. Drawing on the rich heritage of the great jazz singers from Betty Carter to Bessie Smith, she brings a unique theatricality and rare authority to her performances that has had the NY jazz critics drooling, and seen her endorsed by none other than Wynton Marsalis who has invited her to tour with him. She performs unique interpretations of unknown and scarcely recorded jazz and blues compositions, as well as performing original songs in French, her native language, as well as in Spanish.
