George Fenton: The Lady In The Van
The Lady in the Van and Other Stories: the music of great British film composer George Fenton performed by the Philharmonia Orchestra and presented by Alan Bennett, centred around the music and story from the 2015 hit film, The Lady in the Van.
Alongside the Suite from that film, George Fenton conducts and Alan Bennett reads from Untold Stories, a series of memoirs with music, and music from classic films including Shadowlands and Memphis Belle. Also featured will be the world première from George Fenton’s latest score for natural history, Predators.
