Gamelan Christmas Chimes

A gamelan is a set of Indonesian tuned percussion instruments, including gongs, xylophones and chimes. This event gives a full demonstration of the gamelan as musicians from Southbank Centre’s Gamelan Programme come together to usher in the festive season with an eclectic showcase that also features Javanese dance.
