Casablanca: Live
The classic 1942 romantic drama Casablanca starring Humphrey Bogart and Ingrid Bergman is screened with live orchestral accompaniment. The remastered film is shown with Max Steiner's Academy Award-nominated score performed by the Orchestra of St Paul's, conducted by Ben Palmer.
Set in Vichy-controlled Morocco during World War II, Casablanca tells the dramatic story of American expat Rick Blaine (Bogart). Rick must choose between his love for old flame Ilsa Lund (Bergman), and helping her husband, resistance leader Victor Laszlo (Paul Henreid) escape the city.
Directed by Michael Curtiz, Casablanca was nominated for eight Academy Awards and won three, including Outstanding Motion Picture.
