Beats WIthout Boundaries

A night of rap and hip hop, featuring artists from Afghanistan, Bangladesh, India, Sri Lanka and the UK, this evening of UK premieres and transcontinental collaborations is a rare opportunity to catch many of these artists outside of the Indian subcontinent and in one place together. Beats Without Boundaries is the culmination of an international creative project, which has paired UK music producers with South Asian rappers, crossing cultural and geographical borders through a shared love of hip-hop. From remixes to brand new material, these sounds are woven together by a sound system DJ and performed against a backdrop of video art.
