Aceh Meukondroe
Recorded and launched in 2006, Meukondroe is Kande's second musical release, exploring themes of peace, environment and religion. 'Meukondroe' roughly translates as 'if not us'.
The album is an account of Aceh at a time of turmoil over the past years, from the tsunami tragedy in 2004 to civic conflicts arising from the separatist independence movement.
