Think cabaret means jazz hands, fishnets and worn-out, cheesy songs? Think again! If you’re interested in performance art it’s time to extend your repertoire.

Get coaching on your stage presence, develop your showmanship and learn how to work an audience.

You’ll explore the techniques and the history of the genre-defying variety scene; from the role of the host, to the rise of vaudeville and the use of songs and music in cabaret art.

You’ll work with professional director Sarah Chew plus a whole host of guest practitioners selected from the hottest acts on the London cabaret circuit.

You’ll then use your new skills to create your own character to perform in the end of term show to a live audience.
