Charlie Hunter

Charlie Hunter is a remarkable American seven-string guitarist with the unique ability to play both bass and chordal guitar lines simultaneously - this needs to be seen to be believed! Hunter draws from influences across the musical spectrum but with strong jazz, blues and funk tendencies.

For these, his first UK shows in eight years, he'll be joined by legendary drummer Bobby Previte and a UK horn section playing music from his recent Decca Records album 'Everybody has a plan until they get punched in the mouth'! Expect rollicking blues, Meters-style funk and hard-edged rhumba all under-pinned with a solid groove.
