Korhan Futaci, Kara Orkestra

Korhan has been the leader and a member of several bands and projects including Tamburada, Dandadadan, Konstrukt, Taranta Babu and Kara Orkestra as well as many other contributions. Korhan Futac? & Kara Orkestra, his latest project, started in 2009 with all the experiences of those written above coming together in one idea. The band come together to expose an orchestral sound so rich in textures and styles when organically bonded together works like machine of consciousness. Influences include psychedelic jazz rock, experimental free jazz as well as gathering the essence of many ancient Turkish traditions of ritualistic values, epical themes derived from ottoman tradition.

Kara Orkestra's concerts are experiences; deeply intense, spiritually high and awakening.
