Ilé la Wà

The poetry-theatre production entitled Ilé la Wà (Yoruba for we are home), incorporates writing from acclaimed poets, Tolu Agbelusi, Tshaka Campbell, Russenï Fisher, Jemilea Wisdom and Belinda Zhawi. It opens with controversial government issued ‘Go Home’ buses on the streets of London and then takes us on an emotional, hilarious and thought-provoking roller-coaster ride of drama and poetry, as 4 characters are forced to interrogate what home is, particularly when their ideas of it conflict with their experiences.
