Ergo Sum
Ergo Sum, a multi-sensory experience, currently under development, combining live performance with immersive technology, exploring neurology, psychology, and the kaleidoscopic nature of human experience.
This piece is a work-in-progress sharing of selected scenes. Framed as an empathy experiment in which the audience are participating and through auditory, visual, and tactile illusions created using binaural sound, projection mapping, and haptic technology, Ergo Sum immerses audiences in the sensations related to conditions including PTSD, Autism, and Schizophrenia, allowing them to experience different personal journeys and perspectives of the world
The performance will be followed by a post show salon talk led by academics, psychologists and theatre makers responding to the themes in the performance and critically exploring our use of technology and it’s creative possibilities in this sphere.
