RBC Race For The Kids 2016
The 2016 RBC Race for the Kids, 5k family fun run will be bigger and better as it moves to Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, Stratford, home of the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
Suitable for all ages and abilities, this inclusive event is taking place on Sunday 15 May and will see children, parents and grandparents run, walk or jog around the iconic 5k course in support of the world-famous children’s hospital. Participants can join individually or in teams, and with post-race activities and entertainment, it’s a great day out for all.
Supported by Royal Bank of Canada for the seventh year running, this unique event sees thousands of supporters come together to raise vital funds for the essential redevelopment of the hospital. Last year, over 6,000 people joined in, raising more than £1million. This year 10,000 people are expected to take part. All the money raised will go towards brand new world-class facilities, providing much-needed space for a parent or carer to stay by the child’s bedside.
