Taking place at its iconic new site of Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, Wireless is back for its ninth consecutive year this July.
Superstar Justin Timberlake is confirmed to headline on Friday 12th July and music megastar Jay Z is confirmed on Saturday July 13th.
Unlike their separate headlining dates, on Sunday 14th July, Justin Timberlake and Jay Z will also be sharing the stage as a special preview to their North American Legends of The Summer Stadium Tour. Groundbreaking hip-hop pioneers A Tribe Called Quest are also confirmed for their first UK show in twenty years.
Wireless Festival is the UK's number one urban/pop festival and the destination of the summer. A dazzling open-air live music experience, it offers a chance to experience the excitement of watching the best in popular music in one of London's most iconic sites.
With many more acts and details still to be unveiled, Wireless Festival 2013 is set to be the biggest and best event on the Summer's musical calendar.
As one of America's best-selling groups of all time, Earth, Wind and Fire - Philip Bailey, Verdine White and Ralph Johnson - continue to impress audiences into their fifth decade as a band.
Earth, Wind and Fire set the '70s alight with hits including September, After The Love Has Gone and Let's Groove. Time spent apart in the '80s reinvigorated the band and they began recording again. The easy partnership of Philip Bailey and Maurice White was instantly renewed. The 1994 Millennium album was Grammy-nominated, while 1997's In The Name Of Love was easily one of their best received records in over a decade. Countless artists have been influenced by their organic live sound, including Wyclef Jean who has produced tracks for the band's more recent releases.
Earth Wind And Fire tour dates
The three-piece London trio of producers Rocky and Rufio and vocalist Skaar have been described as having the melodic synth thrum of Flux Pavilion, the tech-soul vocal drops of Moby and the reverberant snares of trip-hop act U.N.K.L.E. - but their sound is instrument-based and largely sample-free.
