Free Admission
Olivier Award-winning performance provocateur Ursula Martinez returns to Southbank Centre with the world premiere of her one-woman show Free Admission, which celebrates the quirks and inconsistencies of being human and the absurdities of modern living. Following the success of last year’s My Stories, Your Emails, Martinez continues her investigation of confession, obsession, miscommunication, relationships, loneliness, sex, identity and the internet in a new, brutally sincere show, with a few surprises.
With nudity, political incorrectness, positive self-deprecation and a reinvention of the fourth wall, Martinez is back on her dirty soapbox, in this honest, bittersweet look at growing up and getting on.
Free Admission is commissioned by Southbank Centre and Fierce Festival and is part of Southbank Centre's summer-long Festival of Love.
