Hunee began his musical adventure heavily into hip hop and rap, and as he dug further into the breaks and samples of his favourite producers, he fell deeper into the disco rabbit hole.
After DJing and working at various record stores around Berlin, and meeting many of the city’s other music nerds, Hunee began to produce his own tracks. Releasing across a variety of labels such as Prins Thomas’ Internasjonal, Rush Hour, Ostgut Ton, W.T., and Permanent Vacation, Hunee’s craftily-sampled tracks, such as Rare Silk and Brother are packed full of disco sensibility and dancefloor dynamism, falling timelessly between respectful homage and modern day revamp.
Antal Heitlager is a co-founder of internationally fêted record label Rush Hour, based in Amsterdam. Over the past twelve years Rush Hour has cultivated itself into an institute for electronic music and a haven for music lovers worldwide. Preferring not to put a name to his style, the most he’ll concede is that his music is about a diversity that feels soulful, raw and spiritual.
Aka producer Danillo Plessow, currently one of the world's most in-demand selectors, plays a blistering, genre-hopping combination of house, disco, world music and techno. He also runs the esteemed MCDE Recordings imprint which has seen releases from the likes of Harvey Sutherland and Plessow himself.
Red Greg is one of the worlds most acclaimed DJs of soulful disco and boogie, having worked the decks at Maxim’s, Mona and Club Sandwich in Paris, and at Love Chant in New York. In London he has played at Back 2 Boogie and Soul Brew, as well as running his own party, Ebonite. He has DJed alongside such luminaries as Paul Trouble Anderson, Jazzie B, and Sean P.
