Soul Nebula, Vilija Leitanait

London based singer Vilija Leitanaite has put together an exciting new band taking her passion for Jazz music into electrifying dimensions.

Inspired by the new wave of fusion jazz, including Snarky Puppy, Hiatus Kaiyote, Robert Glasper and others, Soul Nebula emerged as a collective project of young jazz professionals.

Self described as Cosmic Fusion the band plays originals and reharmonised covers full of emotion, energy and musical complexity. Appropriate for gourmet jazz analysers, groovy head bobbers, casual foot tappers, and those just looking for a fun night out filled with unique sounds.

Vilija studied classical vocals at Lithuania's National Music Conservatoire for four years and in pursuit of gaining further experience and establishing her career came to London College of Music to study Jazz Vocals with the amazing Tina May, Iain MacKenzie, Pete Cook and Pete Churchill.

She graduated in July 2014 with a Bachelor of Music with Honours First Class degree and was awarded a First Class Licentiate of the London College of Music.
