London International Mime Festival: Not Until We Are Lost : Ockham's Razor
LIMF13 opens at the beautiful new Platform Theatre in Kings Cross with the latest show from Britain’s most innovative aerial theatre group, Ockham’s Razor.
Following the success of The Mill (LIMF10), their eagerly awaited second full length piece creates atmospheric, exciting physical theatre in a series of short stories which explore what it is to be lost.
Not Until We Are Lost is an immersive promenade performance which brings the audience right into the heart of the action, while narrative and images unfold around them. With world class aerial work, and powerful acrobatics performed on specially designed structures, the new show creates an environment which is both physically and emotionally affecting. It questions how fixed is the world around us. Sometimes you need a shift in perspective to find your way.
The specially commissioned score is by Graham Fitkin and features a live choir.
Award winning aerial artists combining circus, dance and visual theatre. Ockham's Razor is an Artistic Associate of artsdepot.
'There is something so unguarded and exhilarating about their joyous physical ease that you find yourself smiling broadly throughout. The whole show is a little miracle of co-operation' (The Guardian).
