Folk & Flowers is an evening of folk music specially compiled to complement the fringe - to celebrate gardens, landscape and nature. The music will range from the traditional to the contemporary, the serious to hilarious - and show how nature is central to folk.

There is a whole language in folk music built around plants & flowers – roses for love, willows for weeping and rue for regret – but will also unearth songs that look at how land and cultivation has been viewed over the centuries

The event is a collaboration between an ensemble of folk singers and musicians who have come together especially for this evening.
