What do we do when faced with the unimaginable?

In an unmissable triple bill, Nuclear War, Buried, and Graceland will ask questions about love and loss, the devastating and the incomprehensible. How do we survive the insurmountable?

Revived for the first time, Nuclear War from multi-award-winning playwright Simon Stephens (The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time) is the heart-breaking, breath-taking piece about a woman who needs to experience everything, in order to feel something again. Simon Stephens will also be making a one-off appearance on 18 March for a panel post-show Q&A.

Nuclear War will be performed alongside Buried, the harrowing true story of Max Spencer who was buried alive in World War II. This groundbreaking anti-war play is written by his son and performed by his grandson. Completing the trio is Graceland, a darkly comic one-man piece following an overworked science teacher who finds himself at breaking point.

Creating a mesmerising and lyrical triptych, these three pieces bring together a world-renowned playwright alongside emerging talent to build a new way of seeing and supporting new writing
