In the ultimate break-out from the confines of the concert hall, both the Orchestra and, for the first time, the music it performs, put the pub on a pedestal, working to entertain an audience that couldn't be further from the usual.

Three outstanding young composers have written string quartets that will be premiered alongside works by Haydn and are designed to arrest a pub's clientele.

The Pub Tour is part of the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment's Night Shift initiative, bringing classical music to new audiences in an informal, rules free setting.
