This event has been and gone.
The NME Awards are back, bigger, better and louder than ever. Performances come from pop heroes The 1975, modern-punk Yungblud and bedroom-pop artist, Beabadoobee, with more to be announced.
*Please note the artists will be performing short sets only*
Yorkshire-born artist Yungblud is young Dominic Harrison. Spoon fed music like The Clash, The Beatles, and Bob Dylan since birth, he’s been playing guitar and singing since he can remember. As Yungblud he has created his own blend of alternative rock: poetry, guitar-hooks and break-beats. "A unique sound that incorporates disco style, danceable beats, rap, rock, reggae and a dose of punk. The live show is the most exciting we saw" - The Skinny

Dark and far-reaching, reverential to 90s shoegaze yet constantly looking forward: The 1975's bombastic sound has gained them a haul of fans across the globe, and they continue to captivate audiences with their wintery, glitchy, melodic form of alternative rock. The boys picked up the best 'British Group' and best 'British Album' awards at the 2019 Brits.
