Create Drama Youth Theatre presents Punk Rock by Simon Stevens, a gripping, funny and deeply unsettling play about the pressures facing young people today.

Set in the library of a grammar school, Punk Rock follows a group of sixth-form students preparing for their mock exams. As revision sessions give way to conversations about friendships, relationships, expectations and fears for the future, cracks begin to appear beneath the surface. The result is a powerful and unflinching exploration of adolescence, anxiety and the pressures that can shape young lives.

At Create Drama, we believe theatre is a place where anything is possible. Our youth theatre provides a creative and supportive environment where young people can build confidence, develop performance skills and express themselves through drama. We encourage our members to challenge themselves, work collaboratively and engage with exciting, thought-provoking material that reflects the world around them.
