The Portrait Choir Sining Day

Immerse yourself in a day of music inspired by our highly acclaimed exhibition Sargent: Portraits of Artists and Friends, described by The Times as “a portrait of a cultural period”.

In this all-day session you will explore themes and musical styles associated with the artist who was celebrated on both sides of the Atlantic, including a folk, jazz and choral repertoire by composers contemporary to Sargent. The day will also include a talk from a Gallery curator, time to explore the exhibition and the opportunity to give a short performance in the Gallery space.
