Mixing dabs of Italo disco into an eclectic set, in honour of the pre-renaissance leanings of the pre-Raphs, Ben Osborne plays music to the backdrop of the Elizabeth Peyton exhibition, where Payton is the first artist to have the entire National Portrait Gallery given over to her.

Ben Osborne is a DJ, musician, writer and broadcaster who appears internationally at prestigoius and underground venues. He’s an award wining creative director and the founder electronic music and art collective Noise of Art and London’s Slipped Disco, Camden Underground and other clubs. Time Out has described Ben’s DJ sets as “techno, funk, galactic house, deep down and dirty disco and other dancefloor dynamite" and a Guardian review described Noise of Art as “an actual cathedral of Sound”. He's presented shows on Xfm, NME Radio and Totally Radio and has worked at the forefront of digital music. He’s made music for a wide variety of projects and performances and has written extensively about music for newspapers and magazines. His books include an Arctic Monkeys biography and his book on the development of electronic music and club culture has been described as 'essential' by Gilles Peterson.
