Carlo's Cafe - A Play For International Women's Day

Global Fusion Music and Arts present, 'Carlo's Cafe'.

A play written for for International Women’s Day by local playwright Louisa Le Marchand.

Set in the cafe in a large city, the play tells the story of six women graduate friends who meet up every six months and talk about a wide range of subjects including: partners, children, politics, religion, FGM, homosexuality and much more.

The play uses humour to address some very difficult issues. As the relationships of the women deepen over time and situations change, their friendships are tested and evolve.

There will also be female musicians, dancers and poets in the first half of the evening.
