Rob grew up in south east London in a large extended family of taxi drivers where it was a fight to be heard.
As a middle child desperate for attention he needed to be funny so was in awe of his Grandad's jokes, but only until he saw a Tommy Cooper video and realised Grandad Cook was a massive plagiarist.
'A little short of a revelation (The Scotsman)
'Relentlessly smiley, perpetually grinning Londoner whose unshowy, unpretentious but thoroughly funny shtick has every chance of winning him a big audience' (The Guardian)
'He already has the confidence of a veteran' (The Times)
'Joyous, cheek aching and touching stand up' (Shortlist).

Foster's Edinburgh Comedy Award Best Newcomer nominee 2010, Gareth Richards is probably best known for his two years of co-hosting the Sony Gold Award winning Frank Skinner's Absolute Radio Show. In 2011 he completed a Soho Theatre run of his Foster's Edinburgh Comedy Award Best Newcomer nominated show, Stand Up Between Song, and appeared on Russell Howard's Good News (BBC Three).
In 2010, he was placed in the top 10 of Dave's Funniest Joke of the Fringe. In 2008 Gareth was nominated for the Leicester Mercury Comedian of the Year Award, and later won a place as part of the Comedy Reserve.
Previously he was a finalist in the Hackney Empire New Act of the Year 2007 competition, and a runner-up in the finals of You Must Be Joking and the Amused Moose Laugh-Off.

The only black female comedian on the circuit in Canada, Dana's comedic style is both refreshing and irreverent, drawing her material from her diverse lifestyle, her gay friends and her crazy Jamaican family. Adept, charming and astute, she is warmly funny with an impishly sarcastic sense of humour. This is a lady not to be missed.
'Like a gift from the Comedy Gods' (The Herald)
'An ebullient and instantly likable presence on stage' (Arts Desk)
'... forthright and funny' (Funhouse Comedy CLub).
Dana Alexander tour dates
Winner of the amused Moose New Act of the Year 2011.
'Combining off-beat jokes with songs about dying pets and choice fatigue, Cahill’s unpretentiously surreal and absurd outlook has seen him win numerous awards and secured him firmly in the one to watch category' (PBJ)
'This quirky performer has true star quality and bags of originality, mixing physical humour, gimmicks, wordplay and comedy songs. Imagine a cross between Sean Lock and Eddie Izzard and you might be getting somewhere, but nowhere close’ (Bruce Dessau, Evening Standard)
'... Wonderfully weird’ (The Guardian).
