Kiss Of The Spider Woman

A provocative tale of love, victimisation, fantasy and the friendship that develops between two strikingly different men imprisoned together in a Latin American jail.

They are excited to announce the next show, the ground-breaking play Kiss of the Spider Woman by Manuel Puig, featuring a new adaptation by José Rivera (The Motorcycle Diaries) and Allan Baker. Originally a novel, this electrifying story has also been adapted into an Oscar winning film and a musical.

Laurie Sansom directs. Previously Artistic Director of the National Theatre of Scotland and the Royal and Derngate in Northampton, his credits include The James Plays by Rona Munro (Evening Standard award Best Play) and Beyond The Horizon by Eugene O’Neill (National Theatre - Evening Standard nomination Best Director).
