Bloomsbury Band Presents Transports Of Delight
Bloomsbury Band is definitely going places with this concert of music inspired by planes, trains and automobiles. It is indeed all about the journey in a programme exploring transportation by a wide variety of methods.
Join in as they walk the streets, navigate rivers and journey into space, through music from an equally broad range of composers, from Smetana to Springsteen and Gibson to Gershwin. Bloomsbury Band bass clarinetist Carl Upsall has arranged the introduction to Janacek’s The Excursions of Mr Broucek for this concert.
