Quatuor Arod

A Barbican debut for this dazzling young French string quartet – whose playing, according to Gramophone, has 'a youthful ardour that catches the music on the wing'.

Quatuor Arod was formed as recently as 2013, but it’s already made an international impact, as well as being chosen for the BBC New Generation Artists scheme. Its Barbican debut – part of the ECHO Rising Stars series – includes the UK premiere of a new quartet by Benjamin Attahir, a composer with whom the Arods have already forged a particularly close artistic bond.
