Rowan Williams

Rowan Williams, who served as Archbishop of Canterbury from 2002 to 2012, manages to appeal to a wide range of people with his thoughtful cultural commentary. His two collections of poems, The Other Mountain and The Poems of Rowan Williams (Carcanet), explore the search for meaning, man’s relationship to nature, and the paradoxes of poetry itself.
