Lucas Price: Dumb Poetry

Lazarides Rathbone is delighted to debut a new body of work by London-based artist Lucas Price. Dumb Poetry presents a series of paintings, drawings and sculptures that feature basketballs, tyres and fire extinguishers overlaid with bursts of open-ended language. Through his pairing of bold imagery with stripped-back phrases, Price changes the overall meaning of these objects, further developing a personal visual language which takes poetry as its starting point.
