From Flying Lotus to Mos Def, you can still hear the influence of massively influential hip hop producer, DJ and rapper J Dilla in everything from jazz to electronic music. LA composer Miguel Atwood-Ferguson now recreates the music of the American visionary with a specially assembled 14-piece ensemble made up of some of today’s most highly talented musicians for this incredible project.

Having worked with the likes of Outkast, Gilles Peterson, Wayne Shorter and everyone in between, Miguel is the perfect artist to tackle rearranging J Dilla’s unique and forward thinking compositions.
