The Musical Offering – Illuminated
A rare chance to hear a complete version of Bach’s much-loved masterpiece, a work inspired by a visit to Frederick the Great’s palace in 1747.
This unique performance will use special lighting during the canons and fugues, so that the audience can actually follow the Royal Theme as it travels through the ensemble and is transformed, inverted and reversed.
