Patchwork Project Album Launch
Saxophonist and multi-instrumentalist Paul Booth presents music from his new album Patchwork Project.
The album takes influences from multiple genres including Jazz, Brazilian, Afro-Peruvian, Indian, Reggae, Celtic and more. He has found a unique way of seamlessly blending these styles in his compositions, arrangements and playing.
To help celebrate the release of this new album Paul has called on his regular touring band featuring Giorgio Serci, Davide Mantovani, Satin Singh and Andrew Bain. He will also be joined by the Covent Garden Consort string quartet, trumpet virtuoso Ryan Quigley, bassist Michael Janisch and special guest vocalist Jacqui Dankworth.
Expect to hear heart-warming songs and instrumental melodies accompanied by eclectic world rhythms and the luscious tonality of the string quartet.
