The Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment (OAE) teams up with the Institute of Physics and the Mathematical Institute of the University of Oxford to explore Bach’s cosmic music in their stimulating Sunday-morning service combining a scientific talk and a performance of a Bach cantata.
The Music
This cantata marks Pentecost, and the descent of the Holy Spirit upon the Apostles, even including a duet between the Holy Spirit and the ‘soul’.
