Hans Koller Quartet, Percy Pursglove's Far Reaching Dreams Trio

The second in a series of eclectic performances featuring artists from the burgeoning Stoney Lane Records label, including the premiere of a new commissioned work written and performed by both bands.

Launching his new triple-album Retrospection on Stoney Lane, pianist Hans Koller and New York saxophonist John O’Gallagher are re-united for this special performance, playing material written especially for this innovative quartet, featuring Jeff Williams on drums and Percy Pursglove on bass.

Following the critically acclaimed success of his ‘Far Reaching Dreams of Mortal Souls’ commission for large scale choir and jazz ensemble, multi-instrumentalist Pursglove debuts his fascinating new trio, featuring Percy on trumpet, Paul Clarvis (drums) and Ivo Neame (piano, accordion), with original music inspired by speeches and works of iconic historical figures.
