Alongside readings from Byron’s diaries and poems and from Frankenstein, Swiss-Chinese pianist Louis Schwizgebel plays music by Schubert, Beethoven, Liszt and the Mendelssohns as well as Judith Bingham’s ‘melodrama’ for solo piano, Byron, Violent Progress – Theme and 13 Nocturnal Variations.
