Alina Ibragimova and Cédric Tiberghien are a duo renowned throughout the world for their dynamism and expressive individuality. They have recorded cycles of Beethoven and Mozart sonatas on the Hyperion label to great acclaim and in this concert turn to the saturated colours of the 20th century, from Stravinsky’s glittering Suite italienne to Debussy’s ravishing Sonata.

The programme is completed by the theatrical wit of Poulenc’s Sonata and the grand sweep of Franck’s own monumental Violin Sonata.
