Boothby Graffoe and friends in an ENTIRE evening of comedy and music

BOOTHBY GRAFFOE

Boothby Graffoe is a multi-talented, darkly hilarious, grade A British eccentric, who can twist your funny bone one minute, and break your heart the next. A musical comedy act who is more musical than most musicians, and funnier than most comedians.' - Stewart Lee 'If I had to compare him to anyone, it would be Spike Milligan.' - Omid Djalili

"Sings songs that are both beautiful and funny" - The Guardian

"...it's not fair to call them comedy songs, they are much more than that, there are some i would dare to call genius." -The Times

"Buy two copies of his cd because you'll want to share but you won't want to give it away." -The Scotsman

"No more music maestro, please!" -The Independent

Boothby Graffoe doesn't often appear live these days save for supporting Canadian superstars Barenaked Ladies on two tours round Britain and Ireland and once on a cruise round the Caribbean.

"It's gloriously entertaining and creative stuff, with surreal leaps of imagination, twists of language and intelligent and pithy one-liners all intertwined with poignant yet often hilarious songs and music."

Peter Brush

Peter Brush appearing at this event

Peter Brush is a highly distinctive performer and deft writer of finely crafted jokes. He unassumingly takes the stage with his slight bespectacled frame and scruffy hair, before consummately conquering it with an arsenal of razor sharp quirky one-liners and peerlessly original routines, all delivered in an amusingly awkward fashion. A BBC New Comedy Award Finalist 2013 & Harrogate Comedian of the Year 2012, he has also written for BBC Radio 4's 'The News Quiz'. 'An imaginative use of language and obtuse angles of thought that produce distinctive and eclectic gags... his best lines are inspired' (Chortle). “Unique observations and connections that stand-ups crave” (The Guardian).
