Moostak Trio

A seamless blend of free improvisation, jazz & folk harmonies, and immersive sonic landscapes, Moostak Trio is a London based group set at exploring the riches within the world of instrumental improvised music. Led by guitarist and composer Harry Christelis, and completed by long standing friends and collaborators Andrea Di Biase and Dave Storey, the three use their harmonious connection to seek out the soft and ambient tones within Harry's compositions, interjected with moments of fire and intensity.

The arrangements of the music are a spontaneous exploration between the trio, using space and patience to instigate highly interactive conversations between the three distinct voices, voices that draw their inspiration from a wide range of places. There are echoes of Jakob Bro, Paul Motian, RJ Miller, and Bill Frisell, as well as pop acts such as Connan Mockasin and The Beatles, these being just a few of the many influences that feed into this trio's unique sound.

Their debut album is set to be released in early 2020.
