Simon Schatzberger, Kilke John

Simon Schatzberger performs Woody Allen’s legendary 1960s stand-up comedy routines. Acclaimed vocalist Kilke John, together with jazz pianist accompaniment, performs classic songs and music from some of Woody’s best loved movies.

Simon’s acting appearances include Band of Brothers, Black Books, Eastenders and The Cottage, working with directors such as Tom Hanks, Tom Hooper, Mike Leigh and actors including Simon Pegg,
Jessica Hynes, Bill Bailey and Hayley Atwell.

He first heard and loved Woody’s stand-up comedy in the ‘90s when his brother bought him the cassettes. A mere twenty years later he had the idea of performing the routines, playing sell out shows
in London and Edinburgh for Woody fans and people discovering his early days as a stand-up and this brilliant material for the first time.
