Wray and Nephew Presents Jamaica Rum Tings: Jamaican Independence Party - Brixton.

Jamaica Rum Tings returns this summer looking bigger, better and bolder than ever before, A true celebration of Jamaican Independence kicks off the summer season ahead. Jamaica Rum Tings makes its debut appearance at the legendary Jamm in Brixton for a unique day and night takeover.

Wray’s Record Shop will feature a display of the 100 Top Tunes in Jamaican Music curated by Tune of the Day featuring submissions from the DJs on the line-up and a live graffiti wall by local artists curated by street art originator, Inkie. Guests are invited to nominate tunes for the record wall, take photos with the DJs and take home a 7” record sleeve featuring a live personalised graffiti piece of your choice.

Wray’s Drinks Trolley returns with the Free Pour Challenge with prizes for guests that can pour a perfect 25ml measure. And introducing the Reggae Rum Punch Relay Race, a new challenge that sees a team of four try and make a Reggae Rum Punch faster than the Jamaican 4x100m relay team’s world record to be in with a chance to win a much sought after Wray Goodie Box featuring a limited edition t-shirts, punch making kits, cups, dominoes. Don’t forget there’s free Reggae Rum Punch for the first 100 people through the door.

The award-winning Fish, Wings and Tings will be serving food from Wray’s Jerk BBQ on the front terrace and there will be Wray Dominoes Tables for guests to play on and an Instagram Wall for guests to share their photos tagged with #WrayRumTings.

The Jamaica Rum Tings series is a celebration of Jamaica, inspired by Wray and Nephew’s rich Jamaican heritage, roots and its influence on UK culture.
