Japanese quintet Degurutieni play a smoky, gypsy swing-tinged ghost-ballad kind of jazz.

It’s quite possibly the sound of Louis Armstrong out fishing with Ken Nordine in a Richard Brautigan story, a collision of soulful raspy vocals, junk roots, toys, horns, electric guitars and industrial rhythms.

India Electric Company travel through Eastern European themes, Gypsy jazz and Irish reels, their sound a 'haunting collection of atmosphere, textures and layers' (Spiral Earth).

In March 2015 they released their debut album The Girl I Left Behind Me and are currently supporting and accompanying Midge Ure on the extensive Breathe Again tour throughout Europe.
