Keats, Love And Myth Understandings
Performance poet and comedian John Hegley brings his uproarious new show to Jacksons Lane to celebrate the venue's 40th anniversary.
The evening features a selection of verses concerning Keats's relationships with vegetables and surgery. There is a long look at love, both on and off the buses, as well as musings on the old chestnut of Orpheus's disruptive turn around.
This show is devised for adults, but tolerable to some 10 year olds. It's deep and daft, and John invites you to come and have a good laugh with him.
'Awesomely mundane' (The Independent)
'Scandalously talented' (The Sunday Times).
