Patrizio Buanne

These days it’s refreshing to find an artist who really works at his craft. And, luckily for his audiences, Patrizio Buanne is just such a one.

(And those audiences have included the Pope, a US President, various celebrities and several Royal Families.)

On February 12th 2016 at Indigo at the 02 UK audiences will have the chance to see the Italian heartthrob once again for themselves.

New school in style and delivery but old school in charm, commitment and standards. like the great singers before him, Patrizio aims to provide the best in melody and song coupled with superlative and engaging entertainment.

(Think Julio Iglesias meets a young Tom Jones, throw in some wicked moves and a smile to light up the room and you get the drift!)

But Patrizio is no ‘Popera’ act – more modern day crooner, he belongs firmly in the classic vocalist camp. And, like them, he also embraces the many countries where he performs.

While he speaks seven languages fluently - Italian, Spanish. English, German, French, Africans and Polish - and understands at least 10, he always goes the extra mile to relate to the country he is in. He gives audiences a flavour of his Southern Italian homeland mixed with the musicality of the greats he admires.

“I have been blessed” he says. “I love to sing and travel every day and I’m so grateful that I can do just that.” And it seems his public agrees. It’s a career choice that has paid off big time.

A triple platinum artist abroad, Patrizio regularly performs in Asia, Russia, Europe, Australia, New Zealand and South Africa.

His last US album went multi-platinum world-wide and reached No 5 on the Billboard jazz chart. His current album ‘Viva La Dolce Vita’ is scheduled for world-wide release but has already spent six weeks at the top of the Australian charts.

Although Patrizio already has two gold records in the UK – his debut album made the Top 10 while the follow up ‘Forever Begins The Night’ went Top 20 - it is, rather amazingly, nearly 10 years since he was last here. Touring commitments elsewhere have always prevented… until now when he returns for a special one off show in February next year.

Patrizio plays the Indigo at the O2 on February 12th 2016 - just in time for Valentine’s Day.

He admits that the timing is no coincidence. “I am a hopeless romantic. Without a little romance the world is a far duller place. Even in the hardest of circumstances I know love and romance can bloom. If I can bring a little of that joy de vivre into people’s lives through my music I’m a happy man. And I am thrilled to be playing in Britain again.”
