Fighting Extremes: From Ebola To ISIS
British forces were deployed to Sierra Leone in 2014 to help organise the response to Ebola, build treatment centres and provide medical staff and security personnel. Also from 2014, other units were deployed to operate against ISIS, including launching air strikes, gathering surveillance and training local opposition forces.
Using the objects and experiences of personnel involved in these two operations, this display will show the complexity of contemporary conflict and security.
