From that very first idea, to plotting and drafting, to book deals and beyond, a stellar panel of new literary talent will be discussing what the process of penning your first novel is really like, and shining a light on what makes a truly special standout debut by showcasing their extraordinary new books.

Speakers include Rachel Edwards, author of the hotly-anticipated Darling (publishing with 4th Estate this May), and Imogen Hermes Gowar, author of the extraordinary The Mermaid and Mrs Hancock (longlisted for the Women’s Prize for Fiction and Desmond Elliott Prize and out now with Vintage). The discussion will be chaired by Sarah Shaffi.
