Jim Jones & The Righteous Mind

As part of the single launch party for “Boil Yer Blood” Jim Jones and The Righteous Mind will play their first UK show at London’s Hoxton Bar and Grill on June 30th. The debut single (to be released in August) will contain three tracks from the band’s first recording session. Jim Sclavunos (Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds / Grinderman) will make a rare DJ appearance on the night.

The band were busy in the recording studio conjuring a new collection of songs a mere five days after The Jim Jones Revue had played their last encore at their final sold out show at London’s Forum at the end of 2014.

Singer/guitarist Jim Jones’s distinctive musical history has spanned several incarnations including The Jim Jones Revue, Black Moses and Thee Hypnotics. Taking the band name from a book of social psychology; the latest manifestation of Jones's ever-evolving sonic vision Jim Jones & The Righteous Mind are sailing further out into dark musical waters in search of rare and exotic beasts.
