State Of Independents

The House of St Barnabas presents the year of the Independent Label - State of Independents, curated by Music Director, Sav Remzi.

This year there will be a celebration of the great independent labels that have always been at the forefront of developing and growing dynamic, new and fresh talent. Each label will present a beautifully curated night to showcase the label's individual style mixing new signings with established acts.

The first event will be curated by Moine Dubh, the new label from musical pioneer Andrew Weatherall. Moine Dubh is Gaelic pronunced moyn doo. Moine Dubh will be a subcription based vinyl record label curated solely by Andrew.

Showcases take place in the beautiful Chapel at The House of St Barnabas. All surpluses generated by ticket sales are donations and will be restricted to supporting the Employment Academy, helping those affected by homelessness and social exclusion back into employment.

Working together, the cycle of homelessness can be broken.
